About the Conference
Who can participate in the conference?
There are no specific conditions or conditioned access. All are welcome! 🙂
Can I attend the conference for free?
No, you always have to buy your ticket and complete your registration.
What is the conference duration?
The event will last for 4 days, from October 10th to October 13th 2024
Where will the conference take place?
The main conference venue will be located in Luxembourg City.
Is there a conference app I can download?
No, there will not be any app. The complete event information is available in the event website. For any help, during the conference you can message us by email. Whatsapp announcements group for participants only.
Will this be a digital conference?
No, the entire event will take place in Luxembourg and there won’t be live recording feeds. We are really looking forward to meeting you in person, if you’re up for it!
Will I get an event certificate of attendance?
Yes, the certificate of attendance will be sent to your e-mail during the week following the event.
I have food restrictions, how should I proceed?
Feel free to give us information about your dietary when you buy the ticket on the dietary field while selecting the ticket.
What is included in the Conference Ticket?
The registration fee includes:
- Conference Entry – full participation in workshop and plenary sessions
- company visits (incl. Transportation if needed) and access to sponsors/partners
- Coffee break
- Conference bag
- Welcome drinks with snacks
- Lunches on Friday and Saturday
- BBQ Friday evening
- Gala dinner + reception drink
- EYE after–party
- Certificate of participation
Not included: hotel, travels, optional activities and personal expenses
Registration & Payments
How can I register for the Conference?
You can register at the event website, by buying a Conference Ticket in the web shop.
To benefit from the special rates applied to members, you must be a member of a EYE partner association. Without these elements the registration may not be accepted.
What is the deadline for my registration?
The deadline is September 27th, or capacity limit.
How can I pay the conference ticket?
Direct payment in the web shop (creditcard, applepay…)
Are there any special discounts or conditions?
EYE Association Members have a special price, you can confirm the details in the Tickets page.
By buying a 5 Tickets, you get a direct discount price, the discount will be applied to you at the checkout page.
I have bought a conference ticket. Do I need to pay any extras to participate in the Gala Dinner?
No, your registration fees already include the Gala Dinner attendance.
I have bought a conference ticket for myself already. Can I get a plus-one?
If your plus-ones intends to partake in other conference activities, you should consider getting another EYE/OE Member or a Non-Member ticket.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, you will receive an email with the confirmation of your registration.
Do I need to bring my registration confirmation to the conference?
Yes, you should have available the Email Registration Confirmation.
What is your refund policy? What happens in the case of a cancelled event?
With no specific reason it is not possible to cancel your registration and to receive a refund. Please send us an e-mail to registration@eyeconference.lu for individual requests related to this topic.
Miscellaneous
How can I book my hotel?
You can book a bed in the Youth-Hostel in Luxembourg-City directly with the conference registration. Moreover, we have been working for you and got some hotel options with good deals – you get theses exclusive information after your conference registration.
However, if you prefer, you can always look for your own hotel, hostel, Airbnb or friend’s house. It’s up to you!
How can I move in Luxembourg during the conference? Are there any organized shuttles?
Public transportation is free throughout the entire country of Luxembourg, so you can use it to get around. For company visits, organized shuttles will be provided(starting point in Luxembourg City).
How to travel to Luxembourg
Train: Luxembourg Central Station is well-connected to neighbouring countries via direct international train services. This includes the TGV (to Paris, Strassbourg, Lyon, Marseille), InterCity (IC) to Belgium (Brussels, Liège), and IC to Germany (Koblenz, Cologne). Within Luxembourg, all regional train services are free of charge in 2nd class.
Airplane: Luxembourg Airport offers over 100 direct international connections and is serviced by various carriers, making it a convenient option for travelers.
Car: Luxembourg is conveniently located between Belgium, France, and Germany, making travel by car a viable option. There are several free parking options in and around Luxembourg City, and petrol prices in Luxembourg are generally lower compared to neighboring countries.
Bus: International coach services to Luxembourg City are available through companies such as FlixBus and Flibco.
